We introduced it at GCSE last year, so no results yet. However I chose AQA as that is what we do at A level and it seemed the most straight forwards option for a non specialist like myself.

You're scared of mice and spiders, but oh-so-much greater is your fear that one day the two species will cross-breed to form an all-powerful race of mice-spiders, who will immobilize human beings in giant webs in order to steal cheese.

Thanks Elle - I think the 3x24 mark questions on the OCR paper are killing our lots chances of success - looking at AQA and whether we can resource it with what we already have and no extra money!!

Have you looked on resourcd? There is some excellent stuff on there and if you do change I am happy to share what I have.

Many thanks again Elle,

I'm feeling a bit panicked at present - I've offered the OCR course and had a big uptake, I've been teaching OCR since 2006 and we had success on the old spec- since 2012 and the 3 exams in place of 2 exams and coursework, results have been up and down- this year was disastrous - however our incoming year 10 are the last to be offered sociology at all at our school so I'm nervous of changing for one cohort to go through, just trying to work out if it's a gamble worth taking!
