Build the Truce Learning about Conflict Resolution.
A one day conference for teachers and educators wanting to find out about IWMs Build the Truce project and learn practical ways of introducing conflict resolution, in a historic context, into the classroom.
Speakers and contributors include Dale Banham (Deputy Head, Northgate High School, Ipswich), Joyce Murdoch (Learning and Access Manager, IWM Duxford), Lucy Neale (Radiowaves), Gil Boyd (Parachute Regiment, Northern Ireland, 1971-74) and Vaughan Limmer (Royal Marine, served with the UN in Cyprus, 1979)

What happened on the Western Front?
An enquiry based First World War study day for teachers of KS3 and GCSE History using the collections and expertise of the Imperial War Museum. Teachers can expect to extend their knowledge and understanding of the First World War and gain practical knowledge of how to use Museums to support teaching.
