I am currently getting my students using this site to help them assess the success of Stalin's economic policies - it seems really useful!

The same site has some great photos too.

It reminds me of another site that is useful. I believe it has been mentioned before, but readers of this thread may not be aware of it.
Soviet Archives Exhibit at the USA Library of Congress. The section on the Internal Working of the Soviet System has some excellent primary source materials eg. on Collectivisation and Industrialisation.
