  • In 1936, Heinrich Himmler established a Reich Central Office for the Combating of Homosexuality and Abortion in Germany
  • With the building of concentration camps in Germanyy for political opponents to the Nazi Party it gave the government an alternative to immediately killing people found guilty of homosexuality
