Exam Paper Details

Students following OCR History A are required to write three exam papers across Component Group 1: Period study with non-British Depth Study; Component Group 2: Thematic Study; and Component Group 3: British Depth Study with a study of the Historic Environment. Component 1 is 1 hour 45 minutes long and consists of 105 marks. It makes up 50% of the total GCSE.
