Hi. I am in Year 7 right now and I am going to be doing my end of year exam in 4 days time. I have revised for all the topics that is coming for the test. The problem I got is I wasn't there for a few days and I missed the Magna Carta. I have got a few question. It is really basic. What is the Magna Carta? Why did King John sign it? Was King John a bad king? It would really help! Thanks

Welcome to the Forum.

There's a good introduction to the Magna Carta on the History Learning Site on this page. This page from the Spartacus Schoolnet site includes some of what Magna Carta said, if that makes sense.

Hopefully these should answer your questions. If you have any more please let us know.
